Ippolita Collabs With Artist Will Cotton For Brooklyn Museum Series

Share

Fine jewelry brand Ippolita has debuted a new capsule collection in collaboration with the Brooklyn Museum as part of its Artist Charms series—which features limited-edition charms designed by Ippolita in conjunction with renowned contemporary artists.

Plugging into artist Will Cotton’s imaginative fine art, which features backdrops of cakes and marshmallows in paintings where cowboys ride unicorns, Ippolita created a series of candy-motif pieces boasting colorful gumdrops and peppermints.

There’s a whimsical Gum Drop charm necklace with four glass and ceramic charms with 18k yellow gold rings and an 18k gold charm holder; four simple glass gumdrop rings in blue, green, yellow, and red set atop a thin 18k gold band; a limited-edition 18k gold and ceramic peppermint ring (see it at top); and an 18k gold and diamond pavéd Gumdrop ring.

All 14 charms in the series are being sold on-site at the museum and online on Ippolita’s site. Fifty percent of proceeds from the sales of the jewelry benefits the Brooklyn Museum.

The first two series of Artist Charms Ippolita created in collaboration with the museum celebrated visual artist and performer Nick Cave and artist Deborah Kass, and they were equally cool. See all of Ippolita’s Artist Charms here
