IGI, the International Gemological Institute, introduced a new appraisal report during The JCK Show ~ Las Vegas.

The new report is designed specifically for retailers who want to promote only colorless (D, E, or F color) diamonds. The “Colorless Grade Appraisal Report” produced on the International Gemological Information appraisal form highlights the colorless portion of the grading scale, with reference to the rest of the grading scale, including near colorless, faint yellow, very light yellow, and light yellow grade ranges.

All colorless diamonds submitted to the laboratory are routinely checked for HPHT enhancement.
