IDI to be out in force during JCK show

The Israeli diamond industry will be out in force at The JCK Show ~ Las Vegas with 67 Israeli companies participating. The show, being held June 3 – 7, is one of the most important events on Israel Diamond Institute’s calendar, since the United States accounts for two-thirds of Israel’s total polished diamond exports, $6.3 billion in 2005.

This year IDI will host its largest Israel Diamond Pavilion, with 34 Israeli manufacturers and exporters exhibiting. In addition, 32 Israeli companies will be exhibiting throughout the show.

IDI will exhibit in booth 50118 in the Pavilion, and will have an image booth at 5049 on the upper level.

“The American market is a primary target,” said Simcha Lustig, IDI chairman “Demand for diamond jewelry is strong in the U.S. market, and I’m optimistic that the Israeli industry will do well at the show.”

IDI’s recently launched branding effort will be revealed to the U.S. market during the show, Lustig said. Under the slogan “The Israeli Diamond Industry—All you could ask for in one,” he said the new brand reflects Israel’s multiple strategic advantages tradition of know-how and expert craftsmanship, excellent quality of make, vast selection in all sizes, huge market share, advanced technology, adherence to the toughest international standards, as well as creativity and flexibility. The new positioning has been translated into a comprehensive image campaign, which includes a brand logo, print advertising, a short film, a redesigned Web portal, and other applications.
