The Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association (IDCA) has reelected Nilesh Sheth (pictured) as its president for the year 2019.
Sheth, the president of Nice Gems, was first elected president last year. Sheth also serves as a board director for the Jewelers Board of Trade and on the education committee of the Natural Color Diamond Association.
Sujan Doshi of S. A. Diamonds was elected as the vice president; Shekhar Shah of Real Gems will take over as secretary; and Shiksha Naheta of Empresa Jewels will serve as joint secretary. Rajeev Pandya of Ashi Diamonds was also reelected as the treasurer.
IDCA board members continuing as directors for 2019 include: Shrenil Bhansali of Fairway Diamonds; Shailesh Jhalani of Prompt Gem Importers; Haridas Kotahwala of Royal India USA; Prakash Mehta of Interings; and Mehul Shah of Shivani Gems.
In addition, Nitin Jobanputra of Sanghvi Diamonds; Sailesh Lakh of Sparkles and Colors USA; and Prashant Mehta of Dia Expressions have joined the group’s board.
Roopam Jain of Jay Gems; Jay Mehta of Indigo Jewelry; and Prateek Nigam of Oriental Gemco New York have completed their terms of service.
