The International Colored Gemstone Association has chosen Clement Sabbagh (pictured), of Ben Sabbagh Bros in Minas Gerais, Brazil, as its new president.
He succeeds Benjamin Hackman, of New York City–based Intercolor.
Sabbagh has worked with the ICA since 1997, serving as Brazil’s ambassador, as a voting director, and an advisor to the board.
