Howard C. Shaefer, former CEO of Napier and Co. in Connecticut died earlier this December after a brief illness.
Shaefer served as president and chief executive officer of the Connecticut jewelry company until his retirement in 1985.
Schaefer is survived by his wife, Ruth; his son, Howard C. Schaefer Jr.; a daughter, Nancy Seadale; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
