Andrea Hill has resigned from her position as chief executive officer of the Bell Group and set up her own management consulting firm in Chicago. No reason was given for her departure by either Hill or the Albuquerque, N.M.-based company, which is the parent of jewelry industry marketer, manufacturer, and distributor Rio Grande.
Hill has opened Hill Management Consulting, which offers management services to corporate executives, including: planning and development services, corporate training, and branding.
Hill was with the Bell Group for 11 years. Prior to her work there, she was president of an international clothing director marketer, director of a direct marketing firm, and director of merchandising for a catalog company.
