Harmony Jewelry Design Competition Winners Announced

Hoover and Strong announced the winners of the 2011 Harmony
Jewelry Design Competition April 5.

Harry Caldwell IV was the
professional winner with his close the loop bracelet. Charlie Nguyen of George Brown College won first place for
his Harmony pendant in the student division.

The competition was open to students and professionals with
the objective of creating jewelry using Hoover and Strong’s Harmony
Recycled
Silver and reflecting green issues such as recycling, conservation,
renewable
energy, and environmental cleanup. The piece could not sell for more
than $25
wholesale.
