Greenbaum named JVC’s marketing and development manager

Amy Greenbaum has been selected to lead the Jewelers Vigilance Committee’s marketing and development efforts.

Greenbaum has more than 20 years of communications, special events, and fundraising experience. As marketing and development manager, she will be charged with developing marketing and fundraising programs to help JVC protect the trade and jewelry buying public, says Cecilia L. Gardner, JVC executive director and general counsel, in a statement. In addition, Greenbaum will handle media relations, research potential funding for special programs and represent JVC at trade shows in New York and other major U.S. cities.

“As the owner of her own marketing consulting firm, Amy has created and launched successful marketing and public relations campaigns for major corporations, including Sony Consumer Electronics and large pharmaceutical companies. And she managed special events for nonprofit organizations, such as the U.S. Olympics Committee,” Gardner said in a statement announcing Greenbaum’s hiring. “We look forward to working with Amy to expand our existing programs and develop new ones for retailers. Her experience and drive will combine with JVC’s commitment to expand its membership and fundraising programs so that we can continue to provide vital services for the industry.”
