The Imperial Cushions, a pair of cushion-cut diamond ear
pendants featuring diamonds from the Golconda mines, will be the spotlighted at
Christie’s Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels sale May 31.
The 23.49 and 23.11 carat stones, each D Potentially Flawless
Golconda Type IIa diamond ear-pendants, have a presale estimate of $7 million–$9 million.
The sale will also feature a pair of 13.09 and 12.86 carat
heart-shaped Type IIa, D color diamond ear pendants.

The auction will offer close to 300 pieces of rare diamonds,
fine colored gemstones, and jadeite. Pre-sale estimates for the auction are $70
million.
