The Gemological Institute of America announced Nov. 23 that
its 2011 Education Catalog is now available.

The new printed and online catalog,
titled “Reach Across the World,” emphasizes the global scope of the
industry and the institute’s worldwide education programs and credentials.

The catalog features descriptions of the institute’s
interactive online gemology curriculum, hands-on lab classes and full-time
on-campus programs, and provides insight into domestic and international
schedules for gemology, design and jewelry manufacturing. It also includes
application and registration forms, updated 2011 tuition and fees, and details
about scholarships and financial assistance.

The material in the catalog reflects the institute’s mission
to serve the needs of a wide range of students, including those just starting
their gem and jewelry careers, and those who wish to expand and fine-tune their
skills.
