Gems & Gemology, the quarterly journal of the Gemological Institute of America, has released an iPad app that offers up-to-date gemology news, gem-related videos, and interviews with industry experts.
The new app is downloadable for free on iTunes.
“Research on peer-reviewed journals shows that those available electronically have the potential to significantly increase their impact,” Donna Baker, president and CEO of GIA, said in a statement. “By reaching a broader readership, we can have a greater influence on the field of gemology.”
