Frederick Goldman Celebrates New Products with Charitable Gift

In advance of the Las Vegas shows, Frederick Goldman Inc. company employees celebrated the 2007 collections at a Frederick Goldman party at Porter’s restaurant in New York City. In addition to viewing the newest introductions for Goldman, ArtCarved, Diana Classic, Lyric and Triton, the event was highlighted by a special guest.

Frederick Goldman Inc, a charter supporter of the Jewelers for Children charitable foundation, hosted David Rocha, executive director and Maggie O’Neill, a Make a Wish recipient.

Maggie is 15 years old and was diagnosed with Lymphoma. In remission today, she addressed the group explaining the importance of having something to look forward to during the difficult chemotherapy regimen. Her wish was to travel to London and Paris, which she did in July of 2006. Maggie described it as “an experience, which provided hope, strength and joy”.

Jonathan Goldman, Frederick Goldman Inc, CEO, presented Jewelers for Children with a check from recent company-sponsored events.  He spoke of the importance of industry support and the ability to positively affect the lives of those in need.  Frederick Goldman Inc. provides year around employee opportunities for giving; including employee sales (a portion of the sale price is donated) and raffles at company parties and events.

Make a Wish is one of the organizations that Jewelers for Children partner with to carry out their mission to reach children whose lives have been devastated by catastrophic illness or life-threatening abuse and neglect.
