The news today is that Fortunoff is opening “outdoor stores” featuring furniture – but not jewelry, at this point. Here is the word from David Fortunoff:
The deal we just announced does not include jewelry—it is for outdoor furniture and trim-a-tree (holiday decorations, trees, lighting).
We have no new news to report on the jewelry front. It’s obviously an area of interest but we are still getting our thoughts together. I think any conversation at this point would be pre-mature, though we remain open to it when there is more to discuss.
