You may have read From Kobe to Capri…A Profile of Dorotea Liguori by Linda K. Nathan in the July ‘07 issue of JCK (spread shown below), but in case you didn’t you can click on the title above to read the full text online for free.
While in Capri myself, I couldn’t help but track down Liguori. I quickly found that I didn’t have too far to look, as her shop is just a few steps from the piazzetta, the hub of all activity in Capri. Below are a few pictures of the Dorotea Liguori shop and displays. Enjoy!
From the famous Piazzetta, the main square, the center of life on the island of Capri, following the luxurious street, Via Vittorio Emanuele where at the number 47, you can admire the precious creations of Dorotea Liguori. (Source)
Liguori at work
Later that day (with Liguori in a completely different look for the afternoon) I stopped in the shop to say “Ciao” and take a quick snapshot.
