Tharoo & Co. celebrated the grand opening of its second location in Lake
Mary, Fla., on Dec. 10 by giving the first 50 guests pearl pendants.

Lake Mary Mayor David Mealor was among the guests at the grand opening, which also welcomed many other Lake Mary officials. The event featured a ribbon-cutting, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.
The new location brings designers A. Jaffe and Natalie K into the showroom,
along with the noted brands Hearts On Fire and Judith Ripka, which can also
found at Tharoo & Co.’s Orlando location.
Founder and owner Adbul Tharoo tells JCK
that it was time for the company to have a presence in Seminole County. “So
many stores have closed over the past couple of years. Opening a new store
gives a boost to the local economy and morale,” says Tharoo. “We are a community-minded family and have been involved with various charities
at our other store, such as the Arnold Palmer Foundation and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. We’d like to continue doing that type of work in Lake
Mary and Seminole County.”
