Fabrikant and Leer form Fabrikant-Leer International

M. Fabrikant & Sons, Inc. and Leer Gem, Ltd. have formed a new jewelry and solitaire company called Fabrikant-Leer International. The new entity will be a subsidiary of Fabrikant and will combine merchandising, production and service. “Fabrikant-Leer International was formed to best serve its combined customer base in the most efficient and cost effective manner,” Fabrikant said in a statement.

Larry Weinman will serve as managing partner and Ira Bergman as president of the new company.

“I am very enthusiastic about the prospects of this new entity and its ability to be one of the largest full service jewelry suppliers in the industry,” said Matthew Fabrikant Fortgang, CEO of Fabrikant. “Fabrikant-Leer International brings together an unprecedented combination of experience, integrity and industry relationships.”

Weinman added, “Fabrikant-Leer will combine the ‘best in class’ in manufacturing, design and customer service. We will also continue to offer and expand our private label and branded product lines. Using our extensive worldwide manufacturing and supply capabilities, we will give our customers the finest products at the most competitive ‘factory direct’ pricing.”
