How can gals gently offer clues on the style of their dream ring without ruining the surprise? Glamour magazine “Brides to Be” were challenged to submit a personal video telling why platinum is their first choice for an engagement ring, how they let their significant other know they prefer platinum, and sharing the moment when they knew their love went platinum.
After viewing hundreds of entries, received from May 1 to July 1, Platinum Guild International and Glamour selected Brianna Shook of Toledo, Ohio, as the winner.
Brianna and her “groom to be” were awarded platinum wedding bands from platinum jewelry manufacturer A. Jaffe. Starting in September, Brianna’s winning video, a story of when she knew her love went platinum, will be posted on www.glamalert.com.
“We are just so thankful to Platinum Guild International and Glamour magazine for this amazing ring and opportunity,” Brianna Shook said. “I figured that getting the ring of my dreams was completely out of the question, but I always loved to cruise through jewelry stores and magazines and wish for it anyway. You have made our dreams come true and we are so grateful.”
