Cindy Edelstein, founder and president of the Jeweler’s Resource Bureau, LLC, will be working with the VNU Jewelry Group as special projects director. She will be working on the Signature Designs section of the Couture 2007 show, May 30 – June 4 at Wynn Las Vegas.

Signature Designs will highlight and showcase new designers and the latest developments in jewelry design, VNU said in a statement.

Edelstein’s 15-year old consultancy, Jeweler’s Resource Bureau, LLC, specializes in the designer niche of the jewelry industry. Edelstein has created many events including the Design Center pavilions at the JCK shows, globalDESIGN, the international showcase of studio jewelers, and the Designer Day business conferences produced with MJSA each year in New York City.

Edelstein is the recipient of several notable industry awards including the Benne award in 1995 by the American Jewelry Design Council. She is also the recipient of two Awards for Excellence from the Women’s Jewelry Association and received the first Designer Advocate High Achievement Award from the Contemporary Design Group, the designer group’s highest honor bestowed on non-designers. Edelstein has served on the executive board of the national Women’s Jewelry Association since 1988, most recently as a vice president, in addition to other jewelry organizations.
