DMCC Moves to Almas Tower

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre has just about completed its move to the Almas Tower, and will be fully operational from its new offices on Tuesday.

DMCC will occupy the 49th, 50th and 51st floors of the 65-floor Almas Tower, within the Jumeirah Lakes Towers development.

“DMCC’s relocation to its own offices at Almas Tower marks a significant milestone for us, and the first phase in the development of a commodity-specific physical cluster in Dubai,” said Ahmed bin Sulayem, DMCC executive chairman. “We look forward to offering seamless services to our members from within a single location. Almas Tower is the flagship of the JLT development and will represent the newest hub for commodity trading in the Middle East.”

At DMCC’s new offices, the Registration and Legal Services, Finance, Corporate Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management departments will be located on the 49th floor of the tower. The Government Services Departments for both DMCC and JLT will operate permanently from the Jewellery and Gemplex (Building No. 3, Ground floor).

Built to meet the needs of the diamond industry, the Almas Tower contains hi-tech security systems and secure vaulting facilities for its occupants, and will be home to the Dubai Diamond Exchange.
