7 choices in the latest sought-after style
It was a wonderful thing, the number of exquisite, chatter-enticing necklaces that appeared on the red carpet this season. From Jessica Biel’s feathery Tiffany & Co. and Tiraji P. Henson’s Nirav Modi at the Oscars, to Emma Stone’s vintage Tiffany & Co. choker at the Golden Globes, there was plenty to gush over. And we admire these pieces greatly—rightfully—but clearly, they aren’t your everyday pieces. So yes, major necklaces are trending in La La Land (and probably amongst the rich and not so famous, too), but for folks like (presumably) you and me, something a skosh more everyday will have to do. And that’s a great thing, because I am kind of obsessing over these necklaces, maybe even a little more than those red carpet pieces (their accessibility probably has something to do with it). The latest style that seems unavoidable: delicate and dangling, where a number of charmlike adornments hang from a fine chain. Mostly I’m seeing iterations that feature roughly five to seven danglers—and these are tiny, not like a traditional charm bracelet or anything—but other options exist. It’s quite a beautiful look, and one that can be layered very well with other styles, but really doesn’t beg to be. If you or your customers need a new daily style to add into the rotation, make this the next one.
