Collot named to head Bertolucci Inc.

Thierry Collot is the new president of Bertolucci Inc., based in New York City, the new U.S. division of the Swiss luxury watch brand. His appointment was announced Sept. 25 by Philippe Belais, president and chief executive officer of the upscale Swiss watch brand.

French-born Collot has more than 20 years in marketing and distribution of luxury brands in the Americas, including as vice president of U.S. sales and marketing for TAG-Heuer. He also managed the luxury brands of Chaumet, Zenith, Maurice Lacroix, Daniel Roth, Gerald Genta, and Baccarat.

Bertolucci, headquartered in Marin, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, produces about 10,000 watches a year, primarily for women. The United States is one of its biggest markets. In 2005, Bertolucci was bought by Dickson Concepts (International), a Hong Kong retailer and distributor of luxury products in Southeast Asia.
