Collection Obsession: Daniel Bass’ Diva Dog Tag Pendants

Medallion pendants have been spotted everywhere lately, on celebrities in Cannes, street-style stars, and Instagram influencers alike. Though the dog tag pendant isn’t quite the same thing, it does seem like a natural extension, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more iterations of it popping up as we move into the fall. Primarily used for the identification of military personnel, the tags accompanied other “military chic” styles—camouflage, berets—on their journey into the fashion world, and have held their place since. Daniel Bass‘ versions are luxurious, taking the humble design and adding diamonds, detail, and decoration, in a variety of metals. Here’s a sampling of the collection.
