Fashion jewelry chain Claire’s has appointed James D. Fielding, the former president of the Disney Stores, as its new CEO, it announced June 6.
He will assume the post June 28.
Fielding joins Claire’s from The Walt Disney Company, where he was most recently president of Disney Stores. Prior to joining Disney, Fielding held the position of general merchandise manager for the coed division of Lands’ End.
The company’s former CEO, Eugene S. Kahn, resigned in January.
