CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, released its ruby and sapphire guides for download on the company’s website.
The guides, first presented to the 2008 CIBJO Congress in Dubai and then ratified in May at the CIBJO Congress in Istanbul, offer the retailer and consumer the basic criteria for determining the quality of a ruby or sapphire.
