Christie’s London Auctioning Countess of Rosebery’s Jewels

Christie’s London Important Jewels sale June 8.

The Victorian ancestral jewels were made in the grand
Victorian court style and comprise a series of large natural pearl and diamond
clusters.

The jewels will be sold as two lots. The Rosebery pearl and
diamond tiara is expected to sell for £1,000,000–£1,500,000 (roughly $1.4
million–$2.1 million). The Rosebery pearl and diamond bracelet and brooch has a
presale estimate of £300,000-£400,000 (roughly $426,000–$568,000).
