Cheryl Kindon joins ICA as director of operations

Cheryl Kindon has joined the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) as Director of Operations of the Association’s New York headquarters. She succeeds Nathalie Pearson–Aujard who left the organization earlier this summer.

Most recently, Kindon held the position of office manager for Ardrey Inc., a public relations agency based in Metuchen, N.J. Prior to that, she served the New Jersey Association of Realtors in two positions: government affairs administrator and marketing and business development specialist.

In her new position at ICA, she will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of the international trade association. Among her duties will be the overseeing of the various Gem bureaus around the world and working with ICA’s slide library, the industry’s largest image bank of colored gemstones; preparation of the upcoming ICA Confidential Source Directory; working with the membership and foreign trade fair authorities to manage the ICA Pavilions in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Korea; working with members on upcoming ICA Congresses; and arranging ICA’s membership meetings and gala social events at the Tucson, Basel and Las Vegas Shows.
