The Canadian Jewellers Association appointed Chris Knight chairman of the board of directors for 2011–12.
He began his jewelry career by attending the jewelry arts program at Humber College in Toronto. He owned and operated Chris Knight Goldsmiths for 10 years. In 1990, Knight started Platinum Unlimited with Uli Dehez and Werner Swoboda.
He directs the commercial activities of Platinum Unlimited including marketing, sales, and business development.
