Boyajian to be honored by 24 Karat Club of Southern California

Bill Boyajian is being honored by the 24 Karat Club of Southern California with the Excellence in Service Award because of his 31 years at GIA. A tribute book is being assembled for the club’s 62nd Annual Fall Dinner Dance, scheduled for Oct. 28 in Beverly Hills. Both the Dinner Dance and the tribute book are open to the industry.

Boyajian’s co-honoree at the dinner is Leonard Friedman of Sarah Leonard Jewelers of Los Angeles. Lenny, as he is known to his many friends, started Sarah Leonard Jewelers with his wife Sunny some 60 years ago in the Westwood Village area of Los Angeles. Lenny, also a GIA graduate, is being honored for his many years of service to the jewelry industry in California.

To place an ad in the tribute book for Boyajian and Friedman, contact Caroline Stanley of Red Jewel, Inc. at (310) 937-8997 or email caroline@redjewel.com.

The deadline for tribute book ads is Tuesday Oct. 10 and the cost ranges from $450 to $1,500. All ads should be digital files, black & white, 300 dpi or better resolution. Ads as ‘word documents’ can also work. An ad can be made for those interested.

Boyajian is now with Probity International of Beverly Hills and is the managing director of the World Jewelry Center, currently being built in Las Vegas. The WJC is planned as a global destination complex for consumer jewelry shopping and a business hub for top manufacturers, dealers, trade associations, and wholesalers in the gem, jewelry and watch industries. The center is slated to open for occupancy within four years.
