Bidz CEO David Zinberg angrily slammed a recent lawsuit from
the license holder of Ed Hardy that charged his site was selling counterfeits, telling JCK
it was “ludicrous.”
“It has zero merit,” he said. “We are now looking for ways
to sue them back. We are a public company and we sell thousands of brands. To do something like that would be suicidal.”
Zinberg added he “doesn’t believe” in counterfeits and would
never sell them.
“I believe in karma,” he says. “I believe what comes around,
goes around. To me, this is just a personal vendetta.”
Hardy’s
license holder V & R Holdings sued the online site on July 19, charging
it was “knowingly” offering fake versions of its products.
