Bernie Robbins, Leslie Greene raised more than $4,000 for Mommy’s Light

Harvey and Maddy Rovinsky, owners of Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry hosted jewelry designer Leslie Greene for two trunk show events at the jeweler’s Newtown, Pa., and Marlton, N.J., stores, April 29 and April 30. The two shows raised more than $4,000 to help the Mommy’s Light Lives On Fund, a local charity that bring joy and comfort to children by keeping alive traditions they shared with their mothers.

“Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry and Leslie Greene’s generosity will go a long way in helping Mommy’s Light carry out groundbreaking work with maternally bereaved children and teens,” said Laura Munts, executive director of Mommy’s Light. “This donation will help Mommy’s Light keep Mothers’ spirits alive by preserving special traditions they shared with their children.”

Mommy’s Light was founded by Newtown Square, Pa., resident Mary Murphy less than three months before she died of cancer. Mary and her son created a plan to keep her spirit alive by preserving special traditions they shared. That philosophy is the basis for Mommy’s Light’s program today. Mommy’s Light’s free services are available to young people in southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and northern Delaware.
