Benari Jewelers in Philadelphia is joining Major League
Baseball’s Philadelphia Phillies as a sponsor of all bridal engagements made
during home games in 2011.

The sponsorship is in correlation with specially-priced
engagement packages offered by the Phillies that includes a live broadcast of
the proposal on PhanaVision and the left field video board, four game tickets,
a champagne toast, and a commemorative DVD.

Jenna McIver, marketing coordinator for Benari, tells JCK that this is the first time Benari
partnered with the Phillies. “Our goal with the partnership is getting
information to our fans through Twitter and Facebook,” McIver says.

McIver says roughly 40 proposals happen at Citizens Band
Park each season. “Everyone in our area is passionate about the Philadelphia
Phillies and we wanted to share that passion with them,” McIver says. “It’s
great to get engaged at the park.”

As part of the sponsorship, Benari is offering a gift to
Benari Jewelers for wedding band purchases as well as the opportunity to become
a Benari Bride. Featured on benarijewelers.com,
the Benari Bride program offers coupons for engagement ring and wedding bands
purchases at Benari.

“We also have rights to purchase exclusive tickets for
customers who want to get engaged at the park,” she says.
