A Holocaust survivor, Mellen came to the U.S. shortly after World War II. He is considered one of the last of the “old-time” diamond dealers. He is survived by wife Eva, children Richard and Deborah, and grandchildren Joshua, Alexander and Ruby. More info as it becomes available; our condolences to his family.
