An Austin, Texas, Ben Bridge store lost an undetermined amount of merchandise during an armed robbery Jan. 18.
Austin Police corporal Anthony Hipolito tells JCK that two men entered Ben Bridge Jeweler around 10:08 a.m. Jan. 18, one of whom was armed. Hipolito did not know if the man threatened anyone with violence, but says the thieves were able to grab an unknown amount of merchandise from a case and leave the scene.
“They were last seen running out of the store,” he says. Both men were wearing bandanas over their faces and police were able to obtain video surveillance.
There are no leads but detectives are continuing an investigation.
