The American Watch Association elected Ronald Wolfgang, president of Richemont’s luxury watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre NA, as chairman of AWA’s board of directors. Wolfgang founded Ebel USA in 1980 and was its President for two decades. He became president of Jaeger-LeCoultre NA in 2000.
AWA also elected the following officers. Efraim Grinberg (Movado Group), first vice president; Daniel LaLonde (LVMH), second vice president; Stacie Orloff (Corum), treasurer, and Michael Kaplan (Rocket Red Box), secretary.
The association also added four new members to its board of directors: Allen Brill (Rolex); David Johnson (Casio); David Perlman (Citizen), and John Pistner (Gucci). In addition, the AWA elected Fossil, Inc. to full membership in the Association. The elections were announced on Oct. 25.
