The Antwerp World Diamond
Centre, the promotional group for the city’s trade, has become the main sponsor
and patron of the second Antwerp
Diamond Trade Fair, which opens Jan. 30 at the trading halls in the
Antwerp Diamond Bourse and Antwerp Diamond Club.

Ari Epstein, deputy CEO of
AWDC, said in a statement that while his organization supported and sponsored
the fair’s first edition earlier this year, it wanted to increase its support.

“We will lend all our help to
make this fair yet another highlight of Antwerp’s marketing strategies and
efforts,” Epstein said.

The second edition of the
by-invitation-only fair will host 60 companies, compared with 40 for the first
edition.
