Andin receives supplier honors from JC Penney and Sears

Andin International said it recently received top supplier honors from two of its national retail partners: JCPenney’s “Fine Jewelry Division Supplier of the Year” and the “2005 Partners In Progress” Award from Sears Holding Corp.

“To have the privilege of working closely with these extraordinary national retail companies and then be recognized for making a difference in their businesses is truly gratifying,” said Jewelry.com Chairman Ofer Azrielant, who founded Andin in 1981. Andin is also the parent company of Jewelry.com, which connects jewelry consumers with national, multi-channel jewelry retailers.

The JC Penney Fine Jewelry Division Supplier of the Year was given to Andin for “excellence in 2005,” said Beryl Raff, executive vice president, general merchandise manager, Jewelry.

The Sears Partners In Progress Award was presented to Azrielant by Aylwin B. Lewis, chief executive officer and president of Sears Holding Corp.

The Sears Award is presented annually to a select group of supplier companies that provide Sears Holdings with quality products and services, from apparel, appliance and tools to marketing, facilities design, and technology, said Lewis.

Andin International is one of the largest manufacturers of fine jewelry in the United States, producing thousands of styles each year in a variety of categories—10k, 14k and 18k gold.
