Amberif 2011 announced recently the launch of the Amberif
Design Award contest.

The goal of the competition is to promote amber as a source
of artistic expression.

Entries are accepted in form of 2-D presentations, on charts
with the design produced in any graphic technique, or a photograph of a ready
object or model in the form of 30 x 30 cm chart.

Deadline for entries is Feb. 5.

Amberif 2011 will be held March 9–11 in Gdansk, Poland.
