The 5-year-old French jewelry house Akillis—known for edgy bullet pendants and target-practice silhouette earrings—revealed a slightly softer side during last week’s Baselworld fair when it debuted bow themes. But to keep the “rock ’n’ roll DNA of the brand,” according to a spokesperson, some of the piece’s colorless diamonds are set culets up, as are all of the large karat gold spikes. Just one shop—inside the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills—in the United States currently carries Akillis. The large ring weighs 43.21 grams of 18k white gold and has 0.91 ct. t.w. colorless diamonds (retail: $19,456), while the smaller ring weighs 15.96 grams and has 0.27 ct. t.w. diamonds ($9,156).
