The American ORT has named John Politi, director of Business Development at AGS Laboratories, the 2005 Jewelry Industry Chapter Supporter of the Year for the Jewelry Chapter.
In a letter to Politi, ORT announced he had won the honor in recognition of his “strong support of ORT at the chapter level.”
According to ORT, the Chapter Supporter of the Year is an individual who has provided outstanding services and support of the campaign for his or her chapter.
“This is a fitting award for John,” said Peter Yantzer, executive director, AGS Laboratories. “His hard work for ORT is indicative of the caliber and high standards maintained by AGS Lab employees not only in their job, but in their commitment to the jewelry industry.”
The motto of American Ort is “Empowering students to seek and achieve new opportunities and independence through education.” The award will be presented on May 21 at the Helmsley Hotel in New York City.
