AGS Laboratories offers new courses at Tucson show

AGS Laboratories will host new educational seminars at the AGTA show in Tucson, Ariz., that will contain information on cut grading and provide tips and tools for increasing diamond sales.

New presentations include:

AGS-1 Practical Diamond Grading Tips – Intermediate to Advanced. Peter Yantzer, Director of AGS Laboratories, offers practical diamond grading tips as practiced by the diamond graders of AGSL. AGSL is not only noted by the industry for its cut grade, it is also renowned for its consistency in grades for diamond color and clarity. This 60-minute session will be offered Thursday, February 6 in the Greenlee Room from 9 –10 am.

AGS-2 Using AGSL Documents as Selling Tools – Basic to Intermediate. Two retailers, Clayton Bromberg of Underwood’s Jewelers and Mark Moeller of R.F. Moeller will discuss how they use AGS Laboratories documents in both the buying and selling of diamonds. Both astute businessmen have been intimately involved in the development of the AGS Laboratories and will offer tips for making use of grading documents a key part of your business strategy. This 60-minute session will be offered Thursday, February 6 in the Greenlee Room from 2 – 3 pm.
