Advisory Board announced for new JCK 2006 NYC Invitational Event

The JCK NYC Invitational, slated for March 5-7, 2006, at the Hilton Hotel in New York City, is scheduled to cater to the needs of high-volume retailers and the designers and manufacturers who sell to them.

JCK now announces the establishment of an advisory board for the Show, composed of some of the industry’s leading volume retailers, who will assist Show management in making decisions that benefit Show attendees. The JCK NYC Invitational advisory board includes: Peter Engle, president of Fred Meyer Jewelers; Marvin Beasley, chairman/CEO of Helzberg Diamonds; Dale Perelman, president of Kings Jewelry; Ed Tufexis, DMM, fine jewelry, Sears, Roebuck and Co.; Ed Hrabak, senior vice president/GMM of Sterling Jewelers; and Mary Forte, president/CEO of Zale Corp.

To date, more than 400 companies have applied to participate in the inaugural 2006 event. Among the companies and organizations committed are The Plumb Club, M. Fabrikant, Universal Pacific, Universal Fine Jewelry, Aaura, HNJ, Kassoy, Benjamen & Co., House of Baguettes, Weindling, Roberto Martinez, Simon Golub & Sons, Fischler Diamonds, Lumiere, EFD, Eugene Biro, GIA, Prestige Jewelry, Kurt Wayne / Kristina Fine Jewelry, MK Diamonds, and many more.
