The AB Group, Attleboro, Mass., parent company of Legere, has acquired the W.E. Richards Company.

Robert Arenburg, AB Group president, said the acquisition will complement the men’s goods of Legere and the ladies’ goods of W.E. Richards. He added that the assimilation of products and systems has already begun and that he is confident of a smooth and successful transition.

The AB Group is a 35 year old jewelry manufacturing company marketing goods and services under several trade names: Legere (men’s’ goods); W.E. Richards (ladies’ goods); Clubhouse Quality Jewelry & Gifts (golf jewelry and accessories); J.C. Limited (souvenir jewelry); and Arenburg Brothers (contract manufacturing).
