Lugano Diamonds Debuts a Boutique at Aspen’s Little Nell Residences

Newport Beach, Calif.–based Lugano Diamonds has opened its third fine jewelry store, adjacent to one of the world’s most celebrated boutique hotels—The Little Nell in Aspen, Colo.

The retailer soft-opened a sleek, thoughtfully designed atelier, the Lugano Diamonds Salon, at The Residences at The Little Nell resort in June.

The space features muted blue-gray colors, polished wood floors, nods to Aspen’s luxe mountain culture—including a stylized mannequin holding a set of white skis—and loads of natural Colorado daylight.

The shop offers a bevy of big-ticket gemstone jewelry, created by Lugano Diamonds, for affluent Aspen locals and tourists.

“Lugano Diamonds is a top luxury lifestyle brand that matches perfectly with Aspen’s active, thriving community,” said Lugano’s chief marketing officer and executive director of retail, Stuart Winston, in a company statement.

Before launching the shop in Aspen, the retailer opened a business office in the iconic town in November, which Winston said, “has been successful beyond our dreams.” He added, “Now we’re opening our salon in the heart of the city, and we’re excited to become an integral part of the Aspen community.”

Lugano Diamonds CEO and design director Moti Ferder said in the same statement, “Aspen’s beauty will continue to inspire me in the creation of our jewelry. The Aspen trees, striking blue skies, mountain vistas, and changing of the seasons are fuel for my creativity.”

Lugano Diamonds was established in Israel as a diamond-cutting firm, and opened its first retail location in Newport Beach, Calif., in 2005. It later opened Lugano’s Montage Laguna Beach Jewelry Salon in Laguna Beach, Calif.
