Showgoers might be overwhelmed by the prospect of attending next week’s big to-do in the desert, but here’s a short list of JCK Las Vegas exhibitors you shouldn’t miss.
Emanuela Duca in S11106
Her jewelry is organic-looking, often oxidized, and Roman roots are evident in rustic effects like brushed finishes. Price points in silver start at $550. I particularly like her Magma rings for their earthy appearance accented with dollops of 18k yellow gold.

Hellmuth Simply Good in LUX404
Many people know of Gert Hellmuth’s über-masculine, signature croco-motif styling, but brace yourself this year: The German designer is showing his softer side with a new collection of dog jewelry. The Hellmuth Hund collection (hund is German for dog) features sterling silver and karat gold canines (23 in total) as well as options to personalize with one’s own pooch (simply provide him a picture).

India Hicks Fine Jewelry in LUXEE3
This line is simply beautiful, affordable in silver with diamonds, recognizable since it’s inspired by her father’s famous hexagon pattern—and it doesn’t hurt that she lends a bit of star power to the name: Dad David Hicks was a well-known interior designer with an affinity for geometric patterns.

Robert Grey Kaylor in S10906
Kaylor’s men’s line is simply fantastic. It’s made in the United States of recycled steel mixed with silver and set with precious stones, and I’m a big fan of the nail motifs. What’s manlier than tools? You may have already seen his work on the pages of JCK; now you can see them in person at the show.

Sarah McGuire Studio in S10819
I like this line because it has a lot of super-cute styles at great prices. A good example is her Baguette ring in silver and 18k gold with diamond accents; it’s just $475 retail and offers a fresh designer look with touches of high-value materials. It’s a great look for the money, and there are many examples of this throughout her work. She also works in 18k and offers bridal jewelry.

Ed. Note: If I haven’t made an appointment with you, you’ll likely see me drop by your booth for a quick chat and press-kit pickup, as I will walk aisle to aisle through all of LUXURY, the Design Center at JCK Las Vegas, and other parts of JCK Las Vegas, as well as Couture. Please have a flash drive or CD of new, professionally shot jewelry images! This is the best way to be considered for editorial.
