EXCLUSIVE … Helzberg Diamonds, which has been revitalized under CEO Beryl Raff, is in the process of joining the American
Gem Society. For AGS, this is great news; it gives them a member with over 200
stores. It is also an interesting
move by Helzberg, which suppliers say is moving somewhat upscale. AGS membership could help set it apart from competitors like Sterling. It also follows in the footsteps of Berkshire Hathaway siblings Ben Bridge and Borsheim’s.
