Famed Stylist Rachel Zoe Designs Tiffany Windows

Tiffany & Co. has commissioned fashion stylist and designer Rachel Zoe to design commemorative window displays memorializing “Hollywood glamour from the 1930s through the 1970s.” The displays feature iconic Tiffany jewels to celebrate the 2012 Academy Awards.

Zoe designed five windows for the company, each showcasing a particular decade and its take on glamour and allure. “To see my interpretation of glamour and luxury unveiled in Tiffany’s windows is an amazing experience,” said Zoe in a statement. “Tiffany is one of the most iconic American brands, and I am honored by this wonderful opportunity.”

The displays, unveiled in Tiffany’s trademark stores, incorporate jewelry pieces that capture the zeitgeist of each time period covered, including Art Deco inspired pieces; 18k gold, diamond, and gemstone jewelry inspired by Hollywood in the 1970s; and, in Tiffany’s flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York, the Fleur de Mer brooch given by Richard Burton to Elizabeth Taylor in 1965, which Tiffany acquired in the blockbuster auction of Taylor’s jewelry in December.
