Blue Nile Names New CFO, Accounting Officer

David Binder will become chief financial officer of Blue
Nile in August, the company announced July 21.

Binder will be responsible for all aspects of Blue Nile’s
finance functions, including accounting and financial reporting, financial
planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and investor relations.

He will take over finance responsibilities from Vijay
Talwar, interim chief financial officer, and senior vice president and general
manager of international. Talwar will return full-time to his role leading Blue
Nile’s international business.

Previously, Binder served as chief financial officer and
treasurer at Infospace. Prior to Infospace, he held various leadership
positions at Drugstore.com, Edge2net Inc., HomeGrocer.com, and AT&T
Wireless.

Terri Maupin was also announced at chief accounting officer
for the company. Maupin has served as vice president of finance and controller
since July 2004 and was previously controller at Blue Nile.
