Rapaport International Diamond N.Y. Conference Sessions Announced

The Rapaport International Diamond Conference will be held
Sept. 12 at The New York Times Center in New York City.

The conference will focus on “The Market for Luxury Jewelry”
and “Diamonds and Social Responsibility—Real Solutions to Real Problems.”

Sotheby’s chairman of North and South America Lisa Hubbard
and senior specialist Gary Schuler will speak about the growing importance of
the Chinese market. Pam Danziger of Unity Marketing will speak on changing
customer values and new marketing strategies.

A panel highlighting the latest and
upcoming jewelry trends will feature red carpet commenter/stylist Michael
O’Connor; Fragments showroom and store owner Janet
Goldman; jewelry designers Nina Runsdorf, Laura Amann, and Kerri Halpern; and Rapaport magazine editor in chief Amber Michelle.

The conference is free, although participants are being asked
to make a voluntary contribution of $50 or more to Jewelers for Children.
