1. JCK NEW DELHI SHOW ENDS ON A HIGH NOTE
The three-day JCK New Delhi Show, which ended Sept. 30 at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, attracted about 3,000 domestic buyers and 90 international buyers. Delegations represented key and emerging international markets such as Italy, France, U.S., and Belgium. To read more click here.

2. JA COMMENDS GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSE TO GAO CRITICISMS
The Government Accountability Office issued a 62-page report that evaluated U.S. government implementation of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme through the Clean Diamond Trade Act. 4. GIA LAB UPDATES REPORTING OF LASER MANUFACTURING REMNANTS
The use of laser technologies in the diamond manufacturing process can inadvertently leave marks on the finished diamond, according to the Gemological Institute of America. To read more click here.

6. BOYAJIAN TO BE HONORED BY 24 KARAT CLUB OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Bill Boyajian is being honored by the 24 Karat Club of Southern California with the Excellence in Service Award because of his 31 years at GIA. A tribute book is being assembled for the club's 62nd Annual Fall Dinner Dance, scheduled for Oct. 28 in Beverly Hills. Both the Dinner Dance and the tribute book are open to the industry.
